Hello, I’m Natalie. I grew up a southern California, but I am currently a graduate student in media in New York City. I’m a big fan of classic movies and classic books and television, and I’m working up my knowledge of theater as well.
This blog is a place for me to share my thoughts on various worlds of literature, theater, film, television, and media at large. While my graduate program allows me to view media through a scholarly lens, this blog is a place for me to share my more casual thoughts about topics that interest me and works I love.
My tastes are a bit of a hodgepodge, ranging from Shakespeare to sitcoms, from classic film to fantasy literature, and from period dramas to science fiction television. One minute, I’ll be talking about films from the 1930s and 1940s or the works of the Brontë sisters, and then the next, I’ll switch to a discussion of Harry Potter or Doctor Who. I’m always looking for new works to enjoy, and I hope that this blog will give me another way to find them.
Outside topics covered in this blog, I am very interested in languages, travel, and photography. You can find seven random facts about me here.
